AAA playoffs have already begun and Majors start this week. Volunteers are needed to staff the snack shack during these games. Currently, we need helpers for the nights of June 2 and June 3, with more dates to be added for next week. Please contact Gina at

Cub Run Snack Shack Procedures
IMPORTANT
No one under the age of 10 is permitted inside the shack. No more than two persons between the ages of 10 and 18 should be in the shack at one time, and must be supervised by an adult.
Opening:
Wipe down all counter areas
Plug in warmer when grill is lit
Cash on hand will be delivered
Closing:
Wipe down all counter areas
Unplug warmer
Wash utensils
Fill drink refrigerator
Put Grill inside shack, with cardboard under
Close roll down windows
Cash will be picked up
Each shift should consist of 4 people. :
1 grill master
1 food wrapper
2 counter people
Note: during the morning from 9-10, the shack can easily be staffed by 2 people. The grill should be lit at 10 a.m.
Adults only operating and around the grill.
All food handlers must wear gloves.
Rotate food; first cooked, first sold
Do not leave shack unattended, please wait for your relief. If your relief does not come to you, find out who it is on the posted schedule. They will be playing during at the time. Go to someone in their stands to find the team mom and offer a gentle reminder that it is their turn to staff the shack. If no one relieves you, close down the shack and call Gina at 703-499-4520 or 703-830-5236.

Taking items from the snack shack without paying takes money away from SYA, your snack shack and the Cub Run fields.
Exceptions: Umpires get water and Powerade as needed, and a cheeseburger or hotdog at the completion of game.
